Digital Data Solutions is a central and cross vertical team at Adevinta Spain.
Our purpose is to increase value delivery to users by offering capabilities and high quality data solutions for all our sites at Adevinta Spain to improve personalization user experience and to increase the data decision-making into the teams. Some of the most relevant projects and key initiatives we manage are:
GRID (Global Results Intelligence Database ). The purposes of this solution are Market identification, to have a clear and updated picture of Adevinta and its competitors; and to identify and put into action near-time commercial opportunities.
Work is divided into two phases aligned to these objectives.
Boost the Personalizacion based on enriching and increasing the capabilities of our CDP (Customer Data Platform) by integrating new sources and destinations to expand activation and by defining processes and synergies to improve efficiency.
Prepare the company's tooling-stack for a Cookieless environment
Management of the corporate data layer, definition of good practices of Tagging plan and democratization of Digital analytics
In collaboration with the Head of Digital, the Team members as well as other stakeholders, the main responsibilities of the position are:
Contribute to the vision & strategy aligned with the Data strategy and Company OKRs.
Creates and maintains a prioritized team backlog and is aligned with our stakeholders.
Follow a data driven approach for decision making and product development. Use quantitative and qualitative data to feed and prioritize the backlog. Use analytical tools for hands-on approach to data analysis and decision-making.
Follows our Scrum framework as well as the Adevinta agile and PEAK principles
Coordination of the projects and follow up with the team and stakeholders.
Making decisions based on a User Centric Approach in a cookieless environment.
Define the ecosystem of competitive analysis tools, and identify the associated use cases
Connect the different analysis tools through integrations to our data platform
Understand the digital context through the different data tools, such as Web Analytics, Customer Data Platform (CDP), Data Broadcaster, Alert System, etc. and keep information updated in a changing environment
Design, create and evolve data products via programming data pipelines and using models of structured/unstructured raw data.
Ensure best experience of data product users through measurement of SLO and satisfaction levels and implementation of learning.
Provide real time solutions using modern tools and programming languages.
Maintain, develop and orchestrate the pipelines that build curated datasets
Ensure that quality standards and data governance are being achieved
Stay updated with global data capabilities, tools and governance and apply these within the Digital Data Solutions Area
Guarantee definitions of dimensions and indicators across the company
Develop comprehensive data capture, transformation, and visualizations for self service analytics.
Collaborate and communicate with other team members and common platform teams to develop and standardize high quality solutions
Coach colleagues and users on how to access the right data helping eliminate barriers for self service and autonomy of the teams
Meticulous documentation of work and Jira ticketing
Clear, continuous, and timely communication of issues with engineers, managers, and stakeholders
Actively participate in the growth of the company by providing feedback on tools and processes
5 years experience in a similar position
3 years experience in project management
Extensive experience with Python and Pyspark.
Familiarity with Data visualization tools such as Tableau or Data Studio
Experience with SQL and querying tools like BigQuery, Hive, Athena, Presto…
Familiarity developing data pipelines with scheduling tools like: Airflow, Luigi, Cloud Componer, Argo.
Proficiency in building well-tested code, good development practices and rigor for data quality.
Good development practices (SOLID, testing) and data care (rigor for data quality).
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams
Experience working with Agile methodologies
Fluent in English
Nice to have knowledge:
Experience working with Web Analytics tools, such Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, ECS, Docker Swarm.
Experience working with some Hadoop distribution: Hortonworks, Cloudera, EMR, Azure HDInsight, Google Cloud Dataproc, Databricks
Have worked with competitive analysis using Web Scrapping
NoSQL databases: Redshift, Cassandra, HBase.
Ideally expertise on Segment.
Machine learning tools: scikit-learn, Spark ML, Kubeflow, MLflow..
