Commercial Lead PRO (d/f/m), eBay Kleinanzeigen

About PRO:

Besides the huge offer of private listings eBay Kleinanzeigen is the perfect platform for

commercial users to market their goods and services. Our paid business product PRO is one of eBay Kleinanzeigen’s biggest success stories and forms our professional offering for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with a local presence.

What you´ll do:

  • Be responsible for our PRO proposition from strategy to execution together with your product counterpart.

  • Lead and scale the cross-functional PRO team of over 40 people that includes all disciplines from software development to go-to market (marketing, sales and customer service) together with your product counterpart. 

  • Empower the team to make the vision a reality by deploying truly agile and pragmatic ways of working while not losing sight of the long-term goal. You not only supervise progress against OKRs in the short term, but set the right foundations to turn PRO into a €100 mn business, by scaling the team, setting a focus and constantly evolving tools and ways of working.

  • Be the people manager of a talented PRO business development team taking care of commercial aspects like pricing, strategic projects and coordination. As people manager for several directs you act as a mentor and coach and help them develop against their personal and business related goals.

  • Collaborate with local and global stakeholders  on all levels of the organisation including top management to deliver the best experience for all eBay Kleinanzeigen users

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Master’s degree (or similar) in a business-related field or relevant professional experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar commercial management role with at least 3 years of experience leading a team.

  • Comfortable working in a matrix in a highly agile environment.

  • Fast apprehension, excellent logical, analytical and strategic skills, self-driven.

  • Excellent German and English language skills.

  • You are ready to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to help your team build a great product and successful business.

  • You believe in collaboration, empowering teams and agile ways of working. You know from experience that teams will only deliver great results if they enjoy what they do and have a safe environment.

  • Outstanding communication style to bring together people from various backgrounds and build to-the-point presentations for different levels within the organization including top management.
