Job Description

We are looking for a junior or mid backend developer with knowledge about DDD, hexagonal architecture, best practices, Kotlin, Java, Microservices, etc. to work on the development of the real estate websites of Adevinta, together with a multidisciplinary team of frontend, UX and product. The real estate website of Adevinta is a platform that connects buyers and sellers of properties, offering them a seamless and personalized experience. You will be involved in building a scalable, secure and user-friendly website that meets the needs of the real estate market and the expectations of the users. 


Your functions and responsibilities will be: Design, implement and test new features for the real estate website, following the quality standards and best practices. Collaborate with the frontend, UX and product team to offer the best possible solution to the users' needs. Maintain and optimize the existing code, applying the best practices and the principles of hexagonal architecture and DDD. Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the product and the development process. To be a successful candidate, you should have: At least 2 years of experience in backend development, preferably in the real estate sector or similar. Solid knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, etc. Familiarity with DDD, hexagonal architecture, clean code, testing, etc. Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. Good communication and teamwork skills, as well as a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
